Cartagena to implement traffic closures for 10K solidarity race

Traffic restrictions will be implemented in Cartagena this Saturday, October 17, due to the XI Puerto de Cartagena 10K Solidarity Race. The Local Police will deploy a special device to regulate circulation during various events scheduled throughout the day.

The most significant impact is expected between 16:00 and 20:30. Key affected areas include Paseo Alfonso XII (between Calle Gisbert and Plaza de la Isla), Paseo del Muelle (between Plaza de la Isla and Grúa Sansón), and sections of the CT-33 and N-343 roads.

The sporting program includes an eight-kilometer hike at 11:00, children's races at 16:30, a 5K Promo race at 17:00, and the main 10K race starting at 18:30. Authorities recommend avoiding private vehicles near the port during the peak afternoon hours.
