Cartel Group announces new theatrical season in Athens

The Cartel Group is launching its new theatrical season in Athens with two major productions directed by Vasilis Bismpikis.

Starting October 15, the group will perform Edward Bond’s ‘Saved’. Originally written in 1965, the play explores themes of social marginalization, alienation, and violence within a working-class setting. This production relocates the action from 1960s English suburbs to contemporary Athens and features Lena Kitsopoulou.

Following this, on November 12, the group will present John Steinbeck’s ‘Of Mice and Men’, an iconic production that returned to the stage last season to significant success.
