Cartão TOP users must migrate to new transport app

Users of the Cartão TOP system, used for intercity transport and rail services in the São Paulo metropolitan area, must migrate to a new mobile application, ‘TOP – App de Transporte’, following the decommissioning of the old version this Sunday.

Managed by Autopass, the transition is part of a digital modernization effort to provide a more intuitive interface and improved technological architecture. Existing users do not need to create new accounts; they can access the new platform using their previous login credentials, such as their CPF and password. All linked data, including balances, transaction histories, and registered products, will be preserved during the migration.

The new application centralizes various services, including card recharges, balance inquiries, QR Code ticket purchases, Pix payments, and registration updates. While the app is widely used for Metro and CPTM rail services, it also facilitates intercity bus travel within the region. Users are advised to download the updated version from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store to ensure continued access to digital tickets and services.
