Cartoon Network to premiere new Adventure Time series

Cartoon Network is launching a new animated series titled ‘Adventure Time: Legendary Missions’ (or ‘Secondary Missions’), set to premiere on October 5. The series returns to the Land of Ooo, following the adventures of Finn and Jake as they face new challenges, villains, and epic quests.

In addition to the main protagonists, the production will feature the return of several beloved characters from the original series, including Marceline, BMO, Ice King, Princess Bubblegum, Lady Iris, and Princess Caroço. The new format aims to provide space for other residents of Ooo to tell their own stories alongside the central duo.

The series will be available on Cartoon Network and HBO Max. Behind the scenes, Nate Cash serves as executive producer and showrunner, with Victor Courtright and Niki Yang directing.
