Various regional developments are occurring across Portugal and Brazil, ranging from cultural festivals to municipal infrastructure improvements.

In Portugal, the 10th EIMAD international research meeting in music, arts, and design has opened in Castelo Branco, highlighting the strategic role of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco.
