Casa 47 to build 140 affordable homes in Valencia

The Spanish state housing entity, Casa 47, has approved the acquisition of four municipal plots to construct approximately 140 affordable homes in Valencian municipalities affected by the DANA weather event. The selected locations are Alaquàs, Cheste, Quart de Poblet, and Tavernes de la Valldigna.

The project involves an estimated investment of 16.77 million euros, covering all necessary costs including technical studies, construction, licenses, taxes, and management. Casa 47 will oversee the entire residential cycle, from land urbanization to the final management of the housing units.

This initiative is part of a larger call for municipal land transfers with a total budget of 22.87 million euros. Following this selection, a remainder of 6.09 million euros remains, meaning the call for new proposals from other affected Valencian municipalities remains open.
