Casa CABaN Hayama boutique retreat features Kettal furnishings

The Casa CABaN Hayama boutique retreat, located above Sagami Bay, integrates architecture by Patricia Urquiola and STUDIO URQUIOLA with furnishings from Kettal. The project focuses on a connection to nature, featuring fourteen guestrooms designed to celebrate the surrounding coastline and views of Mount Fuji.

Kettal’s collections, including the Insula modular outdoor dining series, Band Club Chair, Roll Club Chair, and Plumon Sofa, are used to extend the architectural language into outdoor living spaces. The design emphasizes natural materials, muted colors, and sculptural forms to create a sense of understated elegance and harmony between the built environment and the landscape.
