Casa de Pepino celebrates 55 years of Hortensia magazine

Casa de Pepino will host an event to celebrate the 55th anniversary of Hortensia, an iconic magazine from Córdoba. The publication, first released by Alberto Cognigni in August 1971, became a significant cultural symbol by portraying local customs, neighborhoods, and characters through humor.

The event includes a talk regarding the magazine's history, its directors, and its various stages, alongside an exhibition of original copies. Attendees can also view items such as a fourth-series Moto Puma, linked to the characters Negrazón and Chaveta, and stamps issued by Correo Argentino related to the magazine's authors. Additionally, the book ‘Humor e historieta en la filatelia argentina’ will be presented.
