Casa Orlandai cancels concerts due to noise regulations

The Casa Orlandai association has announced the cancellation of scheduled concerts due to strict acoustic regulations and local complaints. Following a mediation meeting with neighbors, the District informed the association that the most restrictive noise norms apply to activities at the Orlandai courtyard, making concerts impossible at that location.

As a result, the District has prohibited the two planned Festa Major concerts at the site and suggested moving them to a public space instead. The association expressed frustration over the decision, stating that the lack of flexibility threatens nearly 20 years of community culture in the Sarrià neighborhood.
