Casa-Sud station construction advances in Casablanca
Construction is progressing on the Casa-Sud station, a major urban mobility hub in southern Casablanca. Initiated by King Mohammed VI in September 2025, the project is part of a broader railway program designed to transform transportation within the Grand Casablanca region.
The station will feature a 22,000 square meter building, a 30,000 square meter parking facility with capacity for approximately 1,000 vehicles, and 38,000 square meters of external amenities. The infrastructure will include six platforms and ten railway tracks, supporting Al Boraq high-speed trains, regional services, and local commuter lines.
A key objective of the project is intermodal connectivity. The hub is designed to integrate seamlessly with local roads, trams, buses, taxis, and high-level service buses (BHNS) to streamline passenger transitions. The total investment for the project is estimated at 1.3 billion dirhams, with 950 million dirhams specifically allocated for construction.
