Casa Talavera Boutique Hotel Opens in Mexico City's Roma Norte

Casa Talavera opened its doors in the Roma Norte neighbourhood of Mexico City, presenting a boutique hotel that blends luxury with traditional Mexican craftsmanship. The building's façade is completely covered with hand‑crafted Talavera tiles produced by Uriarte Talavera, the country's oldest and most renowned Talavera studio.

Designed by architect Alejandro Gleason together with HH Arquitectura, the hotel features rooms, common spaces, lighting, tableware and décor all incorporating handmade Talavera pieces. Amenities include a panoramic rooftop for breakfasts and events, and the Talavera Bistro, which serves dishes inspired by Puebla's culinary heritage. The property is operated by Grupo Hotelero Tasman, which aims to offer personalized, high‑end hospitality while connecting guests to Mexican art, gastronomy and traditions.
