Casablanca presents Brazil-inspired Spring 2027 collection

Casablanca designer Charaf Tajer presented the Spring 2027 collection at Espace Niemeyer in Paris, drawing heavy inspiration from Brazil. The show featured a tropical aesthetic, utilizing palm trees and lush plants to transform the venue into an oasis.

The collection utilized a vibrant color palette inspired by Ipanema Beach and the Brazilian flag, including citrus tones, bright pinks, greens, and yellows. Key garments included silk pajama suits, hibiscus-print halter tops, drawstring surfer shorts, and carnival-style fringed skirts. The designs emphasized a resort-ready lifestyle, blending lightweight fabrics like silk and cotton to transition between beach and urban environments.

As a brand focused on travel and getaways, Casablanca’s design language centers on themes of Mediterranean terraces, tennis clubs, and tropical gardens, aiming to provide cohesive capsule wardrobes for warm-weather destinations.
