CASACOR exhibitions showcase architecture and design in Brasília and Minas Gerais

The CASACOR architecture and design exhibitions are currently being held in Brasília and Minas Gerais. The 34th edition of CASACOR Brasília, themed ‘Mente e Coração’ (Mind and Heart), is hosted at the historic Casa do Candango. The event features 40 environments created by 52 professionals, focusing on neuroarchitecture, biophilia, and emotional well-being. The exhibition emphasizes sustainability through ‘Lixo Zero’ (Zero Waste) goals and the use of native Cerrado species.

In Minas Gerais, the CASACOR event has highlighted clean energy initiatives. The 31st CASACOR Minas also featured the Estado de Minas Architecture and Interior Design Awards. Architect Luísa Mano received the award for Best Interior Design for her ‘Casa Brastemp’ project, which integrates technology with Minas Gerais cultural references. Other award winners include Alexandre Rousset, who won for Best Conceptual Environment with the ‘Espaço Kazza’ project.
