Casacor Minas revitalizes historic Belo Horizonte building

The 31st edition of Casacor Minas is being held at the PUC Minas Lourdes campus in Belo Horizonte, occupying a historic building originally designed in the 1930s by Italian architect Raffaello Berti. The exhibition, themed ‘Mente e Coração’ (Mind and Heart), features 40 environments created by 53 professionals, including architects, designers, and landscapers.

Beyond the temporary exhibition, the event serves as part of a continuous revitalization process for the building. Interventions include the restoration of floors, painting, new bathrooms, improved accessibility, and the creation of common areas and gardens. These improvements are intended to remain as a permanent legacy for the university's use. This edition also marks the 21st year of partnership between ArcelorMittal and Casacor Minas.
