Casacor Pernambuco opens new edition in São José

The Casacor Pernambuco architecture, design, and landscaping exhibition has opened a new edition in the São José district. Moving from its previous location in Bairro do Recife, the event now occupies 11 historic warehouses at Novo Cais, located at Cais José Estelita.

Running from October 29 to December 13, the exhibition covers over 3,000 square meters. Under the theme “Mente e Coração” (Mind and Heart), the event focuses on architecture that promotes well-being and emotional connection. The exhibition features 35 environments designed by 51 professionals, including studios, spas, and gastronomic spaces. New additions include a pilates studio and a sustainable apartment designed for the elderly.

The masterplan, signed by Mário Santos, integrates the preserved tracks of Brazil’s second oldest railway into the circulation of the warehouses. Additionally, the Recife City Hall’s Recentro agency is participating with a special space featuring a tram designed by artist Leopoldo Nóbrega.
