Casaluce: Couple charged for illegal waste dumping in remediated area

Carabinieri Forestali have reported the illegal dumping of waste in a recently remediated area in Casaluce, specifically in the Piro locality. Following an investigation involving surveillance footage, authorities identified a 64-year-old man and his 65-year-old wife as suspects in the incident.

The investigation revealed that on September 3, a white Fiat was used to deposit various materials derived from painting activities onto the ground. The area had previously undergone environmental cleanup efforts as part of government-mandated interventions to secure contaminated sites and illegal landfills. The couple has been reported to the judicial authorities for suspected violations of environmental regulations regarding the illegal management and abandonment of waste.
