Casanare and Meta producers exchange coffee and cocoa agro-industrial expertise
Coffee and cocoa producers from the Casanare and Meta regions in Colombia participated in an exchange of agro-industrial experiences to strengthen technical, productive, and commercial capacities. The initiative, part of the Red Agro Casanare program developed through a partnership between the FAO and Ecopetrol, focused on recognizing successful associative practices to improve access to sanitary certifications and quality standards.
Participants included organizations such as Taurocafé and Café de la Peña for coffee, and Comicacao and Cravo Sur for cocoa. The program aims to promote sustainable production, food supply, and associativity across the municipalities of Yopal, Aguazul, and Tauramena.
