Casandra Alexander leads KPMG Women’s Irish Open

Casandra Alexander holds a three-shot lead heading into the final round of the KPMG Women’s Irish Open at The K Club. After setting a course record with a 63 (-9) on the first day, the South African golfer posted a 69 (-3) on Saturday to reach 18-under par.

Alexander’s momentum was interrupted by a 45-minute suspension due to heavy rain, which she noted affected her putting rhythm and pace on the greens. Despite a bogey at the 17th hole, she remains the frontrunner as she seeks her first title of the season and her second Ladies European Tour victory.

Sara Kouskova is currently in second place at 15-under par following a bogey-free 67. Kajsa Arwefjall also moved into contention after shooting a 63, bringing her to 13-under par.
