Casandra Alexander wins Buccellati Ladies Italian Open

South African golfer Casandra Alexander secured her third Ladies European Tour title at the Buccellati Ladies Italian Open held at Golf Club Milano. Alexander finished with a total score of 12-under-par, three shots ahead of the field.

After an early setback involving a double bogey and a bogey, Alexander recovered with a crucial eagle on the ninth hole. She maintained her momentum during the final stretch, recording birdies on the 15th, 16th, and 18th holes to seal the victory. This win comes just four weeks after her victory at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open.

Germany’s Sophie Hausmann and American rookie Anna Morgan finished in a tie for second place. Italian players Anna Zanusso and Alessandra Fanali also performed well, finishing as the top representatives for the host nation.
