Casas Bahia auctions appliances at up to 75% discount

Casas Bahia (BHIA3) has launched two new auctions featuring hundreds of household appliances with discounts of up to 75%. This move comes approximately one month after the retailer entered judicial recovery.

The first auction, described as a “lightning” sale, is currently active on the Kwara platform and is scheduled to close at 10:00 AM on Friday (18th). It includes 318 lots, with items such as blenders, sandwich makers, and air fryers. Some higher-value lots, including Brastemp washing machines, have seen bids around R$ 788.

A second auction is scheduled for Saturday (19th) at 10:00 AM via the Nosso Leilão platform, though the specific lots have not yet been disclosed.

For both auctions, winning bidders are responsible for collecting items in Jundiaí, São Paulo. Payments must be made via Pix within one business day of approval. Additional costs include a 5% auctioneer commission and a 15% administrative fee. The auctions operate on a conditional bidding model, meaning a winning bid does not automatically guarantee a completed sale, as Casas Bahia reserves the right to analyze the proposals.
