Casas Bahia holds online auction for appliances and electronics

Casas Bahia is conducting an online auction through the Kwara platform, featuring over 400 lots of appliances and electronics, including refrigerators, stoves, and air conditioners. The auction is scheduled to conclude on Friday, September 4.

According to the company, the items are sourced from its Technical Assistance Department (DAT) and are not related to its recent judicial recovery filing. The auction includes products that may show signs of use, damage, missing parts, or may be non-functional. Participants are advised to inspect the condition of each lot before bidding.

Winning bidders can collect items at the Casas Bahia warehouse in Jundiaí, São Paulo. Payments can be made via Pix or credit card. The platform Kwara has issued warnings regarding potential scams following increased interest in the auction due to the company's financial situation.
