Cascais Line night trains rerouted due to modernization works

Starting November 8, night train services on the Cascais Line will undergo route changes due to modernization works. Trains traveling to or from Oeiras will instead begin and end their journeys at São Pedro do Estoril.

These changes affect services stopping at all stations between Oeiras and Cais do Sodré in Lisbon. Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) and CP – Comboios de Portugal stated that the construction, occurring on the stretch between Cascais and Caxias, aims to improve infrastructure safety, service reliability, and passenger accessibility by reducing the distance between trains and platforms.

To minimize mobility impacts, existing nighttime road transfer services will be maintained. Passengers are advised to check updated schedules and follow signage at Oeiras station.
