Cascavel hosts meeting for 1,600 female rural producers

The 14th State Meeting of Rural Female Producers was held in Cascavel, bringing together more than 1,600 women involved in agriculture and livestock. Organized by the Cascavel Rural Union and the FAEP System, the event focused on female leadership in property management and the succession process within the agricultural sector.

During the opening, FAEP System President Ágide Eduardo Meneguette emphasized the vital role women play in managing properties and ensuring generational succession. Since 2021, the creation of the FAEP State Women's Commission has worked to promote female protagonism in rural areas, with nearly 5,000 female producers now mobilized through the system. The initiative aims to establish women's commissions in all 163 rural unions in Paraná to support sector development.
