Casciago to host traditional Castagnata festival

The Pro Loco of Casciago will host its traditional Castagnata festival on Sunday, October 18, near the Church of Sant’Eusebio. This year’s event is dedicated to the memory of Felice Ravelli, a prominent local volunteer and key figure in the Pro Loco community who recently passed away.

The festivities are scheduled to begin at 14:30 with the distribution of chestnuts, sweets, and vin brulè, alongside activities for children. At 16:00, the event will feature traditional folk dances involving the public.

A major highlight of the afternoon is a scheduled aerial display at 15:30. Paragliding pilots are expected to launch from Campo dei Fiori to land in the meadows near the church. The exhibition may also include paramotor demonstrations, provided weather conditions remain favorable.
