Cascina Cuccagna hosts fifth season of Il rito del jazz

The fifth season of the jazz review “Il rito del jazz” is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, October 6, at Cascina Cuccagna in Milan. Organized by the cultural association Musicamorfosi in collaboration with Un posto a Milano, the event transforms the restaurant into the Cuccagna Jazz Club every Tuesday evening.

The program for October features four weekly appointments with double sets at 19:30 and 21:30. The season kicks off with the Raffaele Fiengo Quartet presenting the debut album “Recall.” Subsequent performances include the Davide Parisi Trio, which offers a contemporary tribute to Django Reinhardt and manouche jazz; the Hibaku Jumoku Trio, a crossover experimental group; and the Trio Bramante.

The series aims to highlight both emerging Italian jazz talents and established figures. The events are supported by Nuovo Imaie and the patronage of Milan's Municipio 4, with free admission available via reservation or membership.
