Cascina inaugurates PNRR-funded housing and new public square

In Cascina, local authorities and representatives from the Tuscany Region inaugurated two projects funded by the PNRR through the Pinqua program. The first initiative involved the extraordinary maintenance and energy efficiency upgrades of six housing units, which are expected to accommodate new families shortly.

The second project saw the completion of the new Piazza Cacciamano, replacing a previously degraded building with a public space designed for social interaction and family use, including play areas. Mayor Michelangelo Betti noted that meeting PNRR deadlines remains a significant challenge for local administrative structures.
