Cascina Marchesa library in Torino to reopen after renovations

The Cascina Marchesa civic library in Torino is scheduled to reopen on Monday, August 24. The reopening is part of a broader transformation process funded by the PNRR “Torino cambia – Le biblioteche” program, which aims to modernize the city's entire library system.

Improvements to the facility include new signage to assist with navigation and upcoming installations of new furniture. Future phases of the renovation will focus on upgrading lighting, heating, and cooling systems to enhance year-round comfort. While the main library reopens, the dedicated children's and youth area will temporarily close starting August 24 for further work; during this time, thematic book displays will be set up in the entrance area to continue serving younger readers and families.
