Casearia 2026: Italian cheese fair in Agnone sees significant growth

The fourth edition of Casearia, the National Fair of Italian Cheeses, concluded in Agnone, Molise, following three days of events from August 28 to 30, 2026. The fair featured over seventy producers and two hundred types of cheese.

Organizers reported significant growth, noting that more than 70% of visitors arrived from outside the Molise region, including travelers from Rome and Modena. For the first time, the event also saw a meaningful presence of international visitors. The exhibition space nearly doubled compared to the previous edition, reaching approximately 1,200 square meters of covered area.

Casearia President Giuseppe Di Pietro highlighted the increased quality of programming and displays. The event has generated a total trade volume of 6 million euros across its four editions. Looking ahead, the association and logistics partner EM Live plan to host a national conference on food and art in Agnone this December.
