Caserta man fails legal appeal after hiring unauthorized lawyer
A 29-year-old man in Caserta, Italy, has faced significant legal and financial consequences after attempting to appeal a conviction for driving without a license. The individual, who had never actually obtained a driver's license, was previously sentenced to two months of arrest and a fine by the Pescara Tribunal after being caught driving two different vehicles.
In a further complication, the man's attempt to appeal to the Court of Cassation failed because the lawyer he hired was not authorized to practice before that specific court. As a result, the appeal was rejected, and the individual must now pay the original fines as well as all legal costs.
