Caserta Planetarium to host science event on life in the cosmos

The Caserta Planetarium will host a free scientific event titled ‘Vita nel cosmo: teorie, certezze e paradossi’ on September 25, 2026, as part of the European Researchers' Night. The initiative aims to explore the presence and evolution of life in the universe by combining biology and astronomy.

Coordinated locally by the Department of Mathematics and Physics at the Vanvitelli University of Campania, the event is part of the STREET project, which focuses on bringing astrophysical biology research out of the laboratory. The program includes a live-narrated digital show within the planetarium dome, featuring explorations of extreme stellar phenomena and cosmic biology.
