Caserta Province allocates 13.5 million euros for road maintenance

The Province of Caserta has finalized 23 contracts for extraordinary maintenance of the provincial road network, totaling 13.5 million euros. The funding is provided by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility as part of a resource distribution program for the 2025–2029 period.

The administrative process was completed ahead of the September 15 deadline set by the Ministry. Work is scheduled to begin in October, overseen by the Road Sector. The projects will focus on resurfacing roads and installing or replacing safety barriers and guardrails, particularly in areas that have not undergone renewal for several years.

Scheduled works for the 2025 funding cycle are expected to be completed by December 31. Affected areas include the Alto Casertano—specifically Alife, Alvignano, Caiazzo, Castel Campagnano, Castel di Sasso, Dragoni, Formicola, and Piana di Monte Verna—as well as Bellona, Marcianise, and the Domitian coast between Mondragone, Falciano del Massico, and Cellole.
