Casey Cochran signs multi-year deal with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing

Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing has officially announced a multi-year agreement with Casey Cochran for the 2027 Monster Energy SuperMotocross World Championship season. The 20-year-old rider from Portsmouth, Virginia, will debut with the team aboard the new YZ250F.

Cochran, a former 250SX Futures Champion and six-time Loretta Lynn’s AMA Amateur National Motocross Champion, joins a six-rider 250 team that includes Cole Davies, Kayden Minear, Caden Dudney, Landen Gordon, and Pierce Brown. This move follows the announcement of the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna team shutdown, which had previously left Cochran without a spot for the 2027 season.

The 2027 season is scheduled to begin on January 9 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California.
