Casey O’Neill secured a first-round submission victory over Eduarda Moura at UFC 331 in Los Angeles. At the 3:22 mark of the opening round, O’Neill executed an armbar to force a tap from Moura.

The finish involved a unique sequence where O’Neill, fighting from the bottom position, used her hips to launch Moura into the air. As Moura descended, O’Neill transitioned immediately into the armbar. O’Neill noted that she had practiced similar transitions in training and sought to make a statement to climb the women’s flyweight rankings.

Following the win, O’Neill called for a matchup against Maycee Barber, marking a significant step in her return to competition after being out of action from 2024 to 2026.
