Cash Wheeler explains why FTR remains with AEW

Cash Wheeler has provided insight into why the tag team duo FTR has chosen to remain with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) rather than returning to established promotions like WWE. Speaking on ‘Going Ringside’, Wheeler highlighted that AEW currently hosts what he considers to be the best tag team division in the world.

Wheeler also expressed an interest in the growth potential of the company. He noted that while older promotions are established cultural entities, AEW is still in a relatively young stage of development. He described the excitement of contributing to the growth of a company that is still expanding its television presence, event attendance, and fanbase.

Additionally, Wheeler suggested that the existence of a major alternative to long-standing wrestling organizations provides more opportunities and negotiating leverage within the industry.
