Casimiro de Abreu opens municipal prosecutor contest with R$4,875 salary

The Municipal Prosecutor's Office of Casimiro de Abreu (RJ) has published an edital for a public contest to fill a reserve position of municipal prosecutor. Organized by the Instituto Brasileiro de Administração Municipal (IBAM), the role offers a salary of R$4,875 and requires a law degree, registration with the OAB and at least three years of legal practice.

Registrations are open from 27 July to 27 August 2026, with a R$90 fee and a waiver option for candidates with low income. The selection consists of a 50‑question objective test on 27 September 2026, a dissertative exam on a specific legal subject, and an evaluation of titles. The contest is valid for two years, subject to one possible extension by the mayor.
