Casino Malta to host WSOP Circuit and WPT Battle of Malta events

GGPoker announced exclusive online qualifiers for the inaugural WSOP Circuit Malta, beginning on 10 August 2026. Free roll satellites and paid events starting at €5 lead to weekly €150 Super Satellites that award seats to the €1,500 Main Event, which will be held 30 September–4 October at Casino Malta in St. Julian’s. GGPoker CEO Sarne Lightman said the qualifiers make the festival accessible to players of all levels, while Casino Malta General Manager Slawomir Switalski highlighted the venue’s status as a European poker hub.

WPT Global is also running a promotion for its Battle of Malta tournament. From 27 July to 4 October 2026, players can enter a $1.10 satellite for a chance to win a $1,600 package that includes a €600 entry to the €1.5 million‑guaranteed Main Event, four hotel nights at the Voco Malta Hotel, and additional perks. Satellite rounds run each Sunday, with two guaranteed $1,600 packages per event. The Battle of Malta festival is scheduled for 27 October–4 November at Casino Malta.
