Casino Win Győr to continue operations under temporary permit

The Casino Win facility in Győr will continue to operate despite its previous concession expiring on September 15. The Regulatory Authority for Regulated Activities (SZTFH) has granted a temporary permit that allows the casino to remain open until the new licensing procedure is finalized.

While the current official registry listed an expiration date of September 15, 2026, the authority clarified that the operating license remains valid pending the conclusion of the new concession agreement. The new 35-year concession has reportedly been decided, involving Treff-Klub Kft., which holds concessions for casinos in Pécs, Győr, Nyíregyháza, Miskolc, and Szeged.

The casino, currently owned by the Treff-Center Asset Management Foundation, remains a significant business, reporting 2.7 billion forints in revenue and 449 million forints in profit last year. This development occurs amid broader government plans to review casino concessions and a potential restructuring of the SZTFH.
