Casio announced the GWR‑B3000 Gravitymaster, a G‑Shock model aimed at pilots. It uses a new Tough MVT solar‑powered quartz movement that automatically restores hand alignment after shock and pauses when strong magnetic fields are detected, resuming accurate timekeeping once the field subsides. The watch’s case incorporates AI‑driven durability modeling, a carbon‑fiber‑reinforced resin core and stainless‑steel injection‑molded parts, delivering a slimmer, lighter profile while maintaining 200 m water resistance.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, positioning it as a thinner alternative to the Apple Watch Ultra 3. The device’s case height is reduced to 10.7 mm from 12.1 mm, and its battery capacity is increased by 35 % to 800 mAh. The redesign stems from swapping the Exynos W1000 processor for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite, freeing vertical space for a larger battery and a flat squircle bezel that allows permanent hour numerals. The Ultra 2 ships in a 47 mm size, retails for $699.99, and is slated for release on 7 August.
