Casio G‑Shock Realme Watch S5 smartwatch release 2026 limited edition budget wearable

Japanese watchmaker Casio announced the limited‑edition G‑Shock model MRG‑BF1000EB‑1A, a premium smartwatch priced at $7,700 and restricted to 800 pieces. The Frogman‑styled device features Bluetooth connectivity, Tough Solar charging, a titanium‑DLC case, and water resistance suitable for diving.

Chinese electronics brand Realme introduced its upcoming Watch S5, targeting the budget segment. The watch sports a 1.43‑inch AMOLED display (up to 1500 nit brightness), 20‑day battery life (reduced with GPS), 5 ATM water resistance and health sensors for pulse, blood‑oxygen, stress and sleep monitoring. It also supports AI‑assistant functions and over 100 sport modes. Realme plans to launch the Watch S5 on 22 May 2026 in India, alongside its Buds Air 8 Pro earbuds and Realme 16T 5G smartphone.
