Casio G‑Shock launches Luxe Black watch collection

Casio’s G‑Shock brand introduced a new Luxe Black line comprising four models that revisit the brand’s original all‑black aesthetic. The series includes two versions each of the GM‑2100LXB and GA‑2100LXB, featuring matte black dials that absorb light and reduce reflections, metal‑accented indices in silver or gold, and biobased resin straps. The GM‑2100LXB models add a black ion‑plated stainless‑steel bezel, while the GA‑2100LXB versions retain a carbon‑reinforced resin case and bezel. All watches use the proven 5611 module. The collection becomes available online through Casio and at selected retailers beginning 11 August 2026.

The launch marks a shift from the brand’s recent focus on bright colors and complex designs toward a minimalist, monochrome look, echoing G‑Shock’s 1990s roots in street‑wear culture while emphasizing durability and modern material finishes.
