Casio launches G‑SHOCK virtual watch items and skate‑boarding world on Roblox

Casio Computer Co., Ltd announced that it will make G‑SHOCK watch models available as avatar items on the Roblox platform. Twelve digital watches – reproductions of the DW‑5600 and GA‑2100 series in six colour variants each – can be purchased by users to customise their avatars. The launch begins at 03:00 UTC on 15 July 2026 and runs through 2 August, accompanied by a special in‑game event.

The company also introduced an official Roblox world called “Challenge the Skate Obby: G‑SHOCK”, a skate‑boarding obstacle‑course race that references the brand’s durability tests. Wearing the virtual watches in this world activates special visual effects. The initiative is part of Casio’s “VIRTUAL G‑SHOCK” project aimed at reaching younger audiences on Roblox, which reports over 150 million daily active users worldwide.
