Casio G‑Shock unveils AI‑designed MTG‑B4000 series and €8,800 limited‑edition Frogman MR‑GBF1000EB
Casio’s G‑Shock line introduced the MTG‑B4000 series, the brand’s first watch whose design and engineering were assisted by artificial intelligence. Human designers created initial concepts, after which AI analysed and optimised the frame, resulting in a carbon‑and‑metal layered case. Two variants are offered: the sportier MTG‑B4000B‑1A priced at $1,699 and the all‑black MTG‑B4000BD‑1A at $1,899. Both feature a multi‑layered carbon structure, stainless steel, and a mix of hairline and mirror‑polished finishes.
To mark the 30th anniversary of the high‑end MR‑G line, G‑Shock also released the Frogman MR‑GBF1000EB, a professional‑grade dive watch limited to 800 pieces. Inspired by the rare polar “brinicle” phenomenon, the watch displays a blue cobalt‑chrome bezel with sapphire‑set accents and a titanium case. It offers 200‑metre water resistance, solar power, Bluetooth connectivity and a price of €8,800. The model will be sold from 25 June in G‑Shock stores in Lyon and Paris.
