Casio launches Pokémon 30th‑anniversary G‑Shock watch

Casio’s G‑Shock brand has unveiled a special‑edition GA‑110PKM‑7A timepiece to mark the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise. The analog‑digital watch adopts the original 1996 game colour scheme of red, blue and green, features a Poké Ball sub‑dial and a Pikachu‑shaped hour hand, and includes a bracelet printed with 30 Pokémon, highlighted by Mew. The case back and box are decorated with Pokémon artwork and a Poké Ball‑shaped packaging, underscoring its collector appeal.

The model retains full G‑Shock durability with 20 ATM water resistance, shock resistance, a timer, world‑time function and LED illumination. It is priced at US$270, with pre‑orders beginning on 1 July, and will be sold in limited quantities in Japan and the United States.

The release targets long‑time fans and watch collectors, blending nostalgic design with the brand’s robust functionality.
