Casio to launch AI feedback feature for ClassPad.net learning app
Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has announced that it will launch an AI feedback feature for its ICT learning application, ‘ClassPad.net’, starting in January 2027. Developed in collaboration with Dmelt Inc., a venture originating from Tokyo Gakugei University, the tool is designed to assist educators by automating parts of the grading and feedback process.
The AI function will analyze student submissions to automatically generate drafts of evaluations, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. This allows teachers to review, edit, and refine the AI-generated suggestions before returning them to students, aiming to reduce the administrative burden of manual grading while maintaining high-quality, personalized feedback.
By streamlining these tasks, the company intends to enable teachers to dedicate more time to direct student interaction and individualized support. The feature is expected to help students engage in self-regulated learning through more specific and timely feedback.
