Casio to release Oceanus OCW-P3000 with global time tracking

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has announced the release of the OCW-P3000, a new addition to its Oceanus Cachalot sporty line, scheduled for launch on October 16. The watch features a unique ‘Time Zone Navigator’ designed to help users quickly identify the time in various global cities.

By holding a button at the 10 o'clock position, the second hand points to cities currently in the midnight hour. Users can then align a rotating bezel to determine approximate local times worldwide. The watch is intended for travelers and professionals managing international communications.

The OCW-P3000 is the first in the Oceanus series to feature the ‘TOUGH MVT. 2’ movement, which includes automatic hand position correction following impacts and a magnetic field detection function that pauses movement to prevent errors. The design includes a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel with a two-tone 24-hour display to distinguish between day and night.

The lineup includes a blue model (OCW-P3000-2A), a green model (OCW-P3000-3A), and a black model (OCW-P3000B-1A), with prices ranging from 220,000 to 253,000 yen.
