Casoria receives 12.5 million euros for urban regeneration

The Campania Region has signed a Program Agreement with the Municipality of Casoria to launch an urban regeneration project valued at 12.5 million euros.

The funding is designated for several key infrastructure and cultural improvements, including the redevelopment of the historic center and the creation of a tourism hub at Largo San Benedetto. Other planned interventions include the completion and safety upgrades of Boccaccio Park, the construction of an amphitheater and social spaces in via Benedetto Croce, and the completion of the Carmine church to enhance the city's cultural heritage.

Additionally, the project aims to foster digital development and civic engagement through the creation of digital hubs and a platform for community participation, intended to stimulate social and cultural growth within the city.
