Casper aims to increase AI PC production to 50% by year-end

Turkish technology company Casper is accelerating its integration of artificial intelligence into hardware, aiming to increase the share of AI-powered PCs in its production from approximately 30% to 50% by the end of the year.

The company is expanding its AI PC portfolio with models such as the Nirvana S100 AI, which features the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor. A key component of this strategy is the utilization of the Neural Processing Unit (NPU). Unlike traditional CPU and GPU tasks, the NPU is designed specifically for AI workloads, allowing tasks like image enhancement, background editing, and noise reduction to be processed directly on the device rather than in the cloud.

Feray Karaman, Casper's Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Operations, noted that while traditional specs like processor power and memory remain important, AI capability is becoming a primary selection criterion for users. Karaman expects AI capabilities to become a standard feature in computers within the next three to four years.
