Casper Hestbech to leave Hobro Byforum for leadership role in Aalborg

Casper Hestbech is stepping down as the leader of Hobro Byforum on September 30 to become the leader of HUSET in Aalborg, a role that involves uniting four cultural institutions into one.

During his tenure at Hobro Byforum, Hestbech oversaw significant projects, most notably the Midgårdsormen project, which was realized through collaborations with funds, businesses, and volunteers. Since 2024, Hobro Byforum has secured more than 5.5 million DKK for various local initiatives, including work on the Gasværket, Student Hub Hobro, youth activities, and urban space improvements.

Lone Kalstrup, chairperson of Hobro Byforum, expressed both sadness at his departure and pride in his ability to translate strategic goals into action. The organization is now beginning the search for a new leader.
