Casper Ruud joins Team Europe for 2026 Laver Cup in London
Norwegian No. 13 Casper Ruud has been added to Team Europe’s roster for the 2026 Laver Cup, completing a six‑man line‑up that also includes Alexander Zverev, Carlos Alcaraz, Flavio Cobolli, Jakub Mensik and Rafael Jodar. The team is captained by former French star Yannick Noah.
The competition will be held at the O2 Arena in London from 25 to 27 September, where Team Europe will face Andre Agassi’s Team World, which comprises Alex de Minaur, Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz, Alexander Bublik, Learner Tien and Tommy Paul. Ruud will be making his sixth consecutive Laver Cup appearance, having played the event each year since 2021, and holds a 6‑3 win‑loss record in the tournament. He described the Laver Cup as “one of the highlights of my season” and praised the team spirit it fosters.
