Casper U. Mortensen joins HC København as player-coach

Former national team player Casper U. Mortensen has returned to Denmark after eight years playing in the German Bundesliga. The 36-year-old has joined HC København, where he will serve in the dual role of player and coach.

Despite the club currently competing in the 2nd Division, Mortensen expressed high ambitions for the project. He noted that the role requires constant assessment of whether to participate as a player during training or manage the team from the sidelines. He stated that he aims to help the project “fly high” and reach long-term success.
